江維中 教授 / 管弦樂合奏

9歲由廖年賦老師啟蒙學習小提琴，加入台北世紀交響樂團。國立藝術學院第一屆畢業(1987)，師從Irene Wilhelmi，黃輔棠，簡名彥等老師。於1991年畢業於曼哈頓音樂學院，獲得小提琴演奏碩士學位，師從小提琴家亞伯特·馬可夫教授(Albert Markov)。當年隨即受陳秋盛老師之邀返回台灣加入台北市立交響樂團的行列，擔任樂團首席一職長達25年。

除了職業演奏之外，還投入教育工作，兼職任教於國立台灣師範大學音樂系、東吳大學音樂系，也曾任教於母校國立臺北藝術大學音樂系。曾投注時間帶領新北市大豐國小的管弦樂團、弦樂團、管樂團，獲得台灣區音樂比賽的特優成績。 同時，他花了大量時間從事於聖樂的編曲工作。諸如為懷恩堂主日崇拜的奉獻曲，把多首膾炙人口的聖詩改編成弦樂四重奏演奏曲，此曲目目前已累積到了一個準備成冊出版的量。

2002年曾為懷恩堂以耶穌誕生為背景創作了一部歌劇【客棧的故事】，後來又重新編纂成為清唱劇。江維中於2016七月底由台北市立交響樂團首席一職退休，仍繼續在各個角落用音樂來服事神，服事人。繼續演奏小提琴、編曲、教學，或是帶領樂團的日常工作。同時也接續了2012年由妻子管風琴家郭臨恩所創立的紐約豐收青少年愛樂樂團，擔任指揮與編曲的工作。
